About the Job
The Swedish Enforcement Authority supervises bankruptcy administrators. We monitor that bankruptcy administration is conducted appropriately and in accordance with applicable law, particularly ensuring that the outcome of a bankruptcy is as large as possible and that the bankruptcy is concluded as quickly as possible.
You will work with administrative tasks, review and analysis of financial documents, and some supervision of bankruptcies. The job involves many contacts with bankruptcy administrators, reconstructors, and their staff, as well as with courts. You will be responsible for the section's record-keeping. You will handle physical and digital mail, registrations, and communications. We are a small process, which means you will also participate in the unit's development work. In the coming year, we are preparing for a new bankruptcy procedure that will take effect on July 1, 2026. This means that our mission will expand, and we will take over several tasks from the country's courts.
Everyone working at the Swedish Enforcement Authority contributes to the fight against crime. Your tasks include identifying and preventing attempts at criminal activity and notifying other authorities of suspected crimes.
The unit's case handlers are located in different parts of the country but work as a group with common tasks. You will be placed at our office in Gothenburg.

Your Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
- At least one year of experience in accounting or similar financial work in the last three years.
It is desirable that you have experience working in a government agency within the last five years. It is also desirable that you have experience working in a court.

Good to Know
The employment is permanent and begins with a six-month probationary period. You will be employed as a case handler. The Swedish Enforcement Authority offers the possibility of remote work by agreement with the employer.
Working in the government means that you follow the government values. There are also special requirements for judgment, security thinking, and compliance with applicable laws. We ask questions during the interview about any previous criminal activity and shortcomings in previous employment. For final candidates, these questions are also asked of references. We also obtain information about debts registered with the Swedish Enforcement Authority, bankruptcy, and business prohibitions. Information obtained will be considered in the overall assessment of your suitability for the position.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
